Drag & Drop Assignments
Several folks have played with using drag & drop to move or link data in FileMaker Pro. Here's a cool technique that lets you assign tasks to people simply by dragging pictures. It's very intuitive and pretty easy to develop. It uses a little-known secret in FileMaker Pro container fields. Presented for the first time at the FileMaker Developer Conference in 2010.
Enhanced Help Systems
Many people use tooltips in FileMaker Pro to assist users. The problem is that the tooltips aren't persistent and they only support text. This demo shows 2 flavors of help systems. One that is easy to create and persistent. The other that can display contextual help from a website or movie.
FileMaker Pong
This was one of the most popular demos at the 2010 FileMaker Developer Conference! Created by ACD's own Joe Gold, this is an actual "Pong" game created entirely in FileMaker Pro. It's still in beta so excuse the raw look and feel... but enjoy the fun of 1972...in FileMaker!
