Angel City President To Speak At FileMaker Developer Conference

David Knight has been chosen to present for the ninth and tenth times at the FileMaker Developer Conference, July 13-17, 2008, in Phoenix, AZ.

Knight's first topic “Developing on Steroids (Legally) in FileMaker Pro” is designed to help developers increase productivity with proven techniques for reducing development time and increasing reusablity of code. Knight's 20 years of development experience will provide unique insight into techniques that work - and those better left on the shelf.

David will take the podium again for his session, “When Bad Things Happen to Good Databases." The session will focus on techniques aimed at preventing the most common development and deployment errors before they happen. Knight will also show how best practices for disaster preparedness can help reduce stress and improve profitability.

Feedback for Knight's past sessions at DevCon has historically been outstanding. For his 2005 presentation, "Successful Development Habits," for example, 99% of respondents said they would recommend the session and would like to hear him again. An attendee at another of Knight's presentations called him "the best speaker of the whole conference."
