Breakdown Services
For Breakdown Services, we built TalentPro product, an all-inclusive entertainment industry product sold to talent agents and managers. TalentPro tracks clients, submissions, auditions, and bookings and it also pulls down live real-time data from the Breakdown Services website.
California State PTA
For California State PTA, we built a membership database that keeps track of all of the schools in California, with extensive demographic information. For the schools that are PTA members, it keeps track of financial transactions, awards, and officer contact information. The database also has a website component that allows the PTA districts to submit dues information, and view real-time live data on their various schools.
Pacific Southwest Regional Center of Excellence
For Pacific Southwest Regional Center of Excellence, we created a system to track the research projects they manage. This includes funding, publications, protocols, milestones, and all the contacts associated with these projects. The database features some very complex reports, as well as a mail merge letter generator which makes mass emails to the appropriate staff easy and fast.
Vernon Fire Department
For the Vernon Fire Department, we built an application to handle staff scheduling. It manages an entire staff of firemen, paramedics, engineers and others, and allows staff members to request overtime and vacation, and manage training and certifications. Previously, scheduling involved a giant handwritten book; the process was extremely laborious and error-prone. Now, scheduling an entire staff can be done with one button click.
We recently implement a web component. Now, staff members can request overtime, trade a shift, or request vacation from any computer over the internet.
Pacific Media Technologies
For the Pacific Media Technologies, the bookkeeper was drowning in paperwork, even though she was working overtime and weekends. Invoices in QuickBooks had to be hand-entered from piles of paper work orders, packing slips and shipping manifests. The process was extremely time-consuming and prone to errors.
We created a system to automate the invoice creation process by integrating FileMaker Pro with QuickBooks. By hitting a button on the FileMaker Pro work order screen, an invoice is created in QuickBooks. This process handles custom rates, shipping charges (from multiple packing slips), and sales tax.
Work that formerly took eight hours is now being done in less than two, with greater accuracy than ever before.
